Why wasn’t my market listing approved?

You can buy, rent, sell or hire just about anything on Pedpo, but there are a couple exceptions.

Your listing might have not been approved because it was considered as a prohibited item. Check our prohibited items list on our FAQ page.

We remove listings that have been flagged as duplicates as well. We advise you to take your own photos instead of using the same image that might have been used by other sellers.

How the payment process works between the buyer and seller?
-
Pedpo provides an online platform where users list and search for a range of items and services. However, the communication and negotiations involved between buyers, sellers and renters are the sole responsibility of the parties involved. Pedpo cannot provide refunds or assist with disputes. Check out our safety tips.
Does Pedpo allow items to be shipped?
-
For safety reasons, we strongly advise buyers and sellers to avoid sending or receiving items via shipment. We discourage buyers from using pre-advanced payment methods. We strongly advise buyers and sellers to meet in person to exchange the item and cash payment, avoiding money orders and certified checks. Meeting in busy public areas like coffee shops and malls are recommended.
Help Center - General safety tips
-
• There are thousands of great listings on Pedpo, be conscious of listings that seem too good to be true. Be aware of listings with unrealistically low prices or photos that obviously haven’t been taken by the owner.
-
• Upon meeting if you can, check the house in person to ensure it meets all your requirements. We’re not held responsible for any purchase held between both parties.
-
• Don’t wire money to anyone you haven’t met in person. Be vigilant of landlords, property owners and agents who claim they can’t meet in person until you provide a deposit.
-
• Be extremely careful when sharing personal or financial information such as your bank account or social security number. Pedpo will never ask for your social security number or bank account information.
-
• Beware of users with stories of financial or family trouble.
-
• Don’t accept requests from anyone to verify your phone number via text or call.
-
Whether you’re buying, selling, renting or hiring, these tips will help you do it safely:
-
• We strongly discourage items being shipped out, it is best to meet in person. Be cautious when chatting with someone who is not local to your area.
-
• Block and report any users in the app who misbehave.
-
• Upon making a purchase, meet in a busy, public area, like a coffee shop or mall, during daylight.
-
• Upon making a purchase, inspect the item in person to ensure the item is not broken or defective.
-
• Bring a friend for help, in cases if the item you’ve arranged to rent, purchase or sell is expensive or too heavy for one person to carry.
-
• Use Cash. Don’t share your financial information (e.g. Bank Account info, Credit Card info, PayPal login and password) with anyone. Don’t accept or attempt to pay with wire transfers, cashier’s checks, personal checks, money orders, or prepaid debit/gift cards. Please be advised Pedpo will not contact you to acquire any username, password or financial information.
-
• Be vigilant for counterfeit items. It’s illegal to sell counterfeit items in most countries and on Pedpo. We suggest that you review the item to see if they’re genuine before purchase.
-
• Be smart and trust your gut if anything raises a red flag. If someone refuses to meet in a public area, insists you come by yourself or changes the meeting place last minute, find another deal on Pedpo. There are many similar deals to choose from!
-
If you're experiencing a problem that isn't covered in our Known Issues, please follow above troubleshooting steps.
